The ThinkCamp is an experience that I would suggest to all of you. I had a pleasure to meet new friends and spend with them very nice and helpful time. I would like to share two main takeaways of this experience:
working with the Thinking Process (TP) you can really make the difference not only in the analysis of a given situation, but also in building or reengineering a process designed for a specific solution.
In addition to the previous takeaway, and most likely the most important personal takeaway, is that sometime a real friend could be very direct to you and, even if you don’t like or you disagree on the content, you should never reject the input, because there is a very high probability that this is done for your benefit. I can’t say that this takeaway is part of a TP tool, but helped me TO THINK!
Many thanks Jelena and Oded! Many thanks also to all the other new friends for the great experience.

The ThinkCamp was great! The way how the camp was organized, the place, the participants, the teachers and everything else – all it pushed everyone of us TO THINK. What I personally got from the camp is I discovered new black holes in my own thinking which I didn’t know that I don’t know.
Thank you Jelena and Oded!!

Jelena and Oded are professional thinkers. If you want to improve your thinking professionalism, then they are the best teachers you can wish for. Even more, they are also great hosts. Thinking camp was two days of intensive work packed into fun, inspiration and delicious meals.

If anyone who don’t recognize me yet in the picture. Pay attention, please. It’s I’m sitting in the CENTER, between two BEAUTIFUL LADIES. Life is good. Camp was great . I’m truly thankful to Elena and Oded for great possibility to meet new nice people from different cultures, from different spheres of activity, but which are strongly connected with specific terminology, way of thinking, passion to learn new things in TOC way. Guys, it was a pleasure to meet you all.

Every day we are faced with challenges, dilemmas and decision making. We talk to the clients, we help them with their problems, we run-run-run. But our brain, as any sharp tool need, sharpening. I really enjoyed possibility to step back from daily run and problems and spending time with really challenging crowd of people while working on improving TOC tools and our thinking. It was a great challenge not only mentally but physically with 8 km run (ok, fast walk) .
Thank you, Jelena and Oded for creating such wonderful opportunity (place, topic, logistics). Look forward to the next event!

– Where are you from? Asked me the hostess of the guest house in Vergi.
– I’m from Siberia
– Oh! Where about in Siberia are you from?
– From Novosibirsk
– Oh my God! And you came so far away to this small village of Estonia! What for?
Good question. When I went from Riga to Vergi with the guys from Lithuania, one of us asked: «Does anyone know what exactly we will discuss in ThinkCamp?» And we found out that no one knows for sure. We decided that if Jelena invited us to a picturesque place and it was said about Thinking processes in the invitation, then we can’t refuse and are ready for any topic.
This place is really beautiful. And the participants of Oded and Elena’s events are one more important factor. I was very glad to see good friends and meet new interesting people.
Special words about the session. Before the beginning of the training Jelena asked us about our expectations, one of the participants said: «Sometimes, I know the solution, but I do not know how I came to this solution». It happens, and it creates some difficulties when we are trying to explain a solution to others or to teach other people to make such decisions. And in the ThinkCamp we tried to take a step back and understand how we were thinking and how it would be worth doing. It was interesting to share with each other descriptions of our thinking processes and get feedback from Jelena and Oded.
And I’ll do it again. I’ll come so far away to ThinkCamp when Jelena invites .
