ThinkCamp

The ThinkCamp is an experience that I would suggest to all of you. I had a pleasure to meet new friends and spend with them very nice and helpful time. I would like to share two main takeaways of this experience:
working with the Thinking Process (TP) you can really make the difference not only in the analysis of a given situation, but also in building or reengineering a process designed for a specific solution.
In addition to the previous takeaway, and most likely the most important personal takeaway, is that sometime a real friend could be very direct to you and, even if you don’t like or you disagree on the content, you should never reject the input, because there is a very high probability that this is done for your benefit. I can’t say that this takeaway is part of a TP tool, but helped me TO THINK!

The ThinkCamp was great! The way how the camp was organized, the place, the participants, the teachers and everything else – all it pushed everyone of us TO THINK. What I personally got from the camp is I discovered new black holes in my own thinking which I didn’t know that I don’t know.

Every day we are faced with challenges, dilemmas and decision making. We talk to the clients, we help them with their problems, we run-run-run. But our brain, as any sharp tool need, sharpening. I really enjoyed possibility to step back from daily run and problems and spending time with really challenging crowd of people while working on improving TOC tools and our thinking. It was a great challenge not only mentally but physically with 8 km run (ok, fast walk) .
